Afghan: First project completed

My first project...finished!!

It's not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination but my 6 year old son, Austin says it's "just the way I wanted it", so it works for me.

Now....on to the next project.

Hi! I saw your post at crochetville. I always admire someone who takes the time to take on such a large project. It looks great, perfect or not. My son's who are in their 20's took the blankets (quilted) that I made for them when they were babes when they moved out. It's a very special gift! Nice blog by the way.

Hi, saw you over at the ville and decided to check your blog. You and I could probably swap some stories about teens...my DH has four kids, three teens & one in elementary school. We've been married almost 6 years. Anywho, just wanted to say Hi. See you at Crochetville.

I think you did great! I wouldn't mind finding out where you found the pattern if you don't mind sharing!

Isn't Crochetville terrific!!?!!

Charlene, I don't know if you will get this but, it started out as something different and turned in to this, something I ended 'designing' on my own. If you still want me to tell you what I did, I'd be more than happy too.
thanks for the compliments
Lisa

btw...I tried to email you but don't know your email address or your Crochetvill name.
