Apples Apples Apples

I'm starting to finally get some things to put in my 'appley' kitchen. Yesterday I found some spongey kind of tack paper that I just loved the design of. So I cut out the apples and glued them onto the backsplash behind my stove, which is blue...I'm not fond of blue.
And I finally the perfect curtains for my kitchen window. I was sooo happy.

So here it is ......my 'appley' kitchen...so far!!

Now I need to get an apple utensil holder, an apple clock, an apple mat for in front of my sink, salt and pepper shakers.........and so on and so on and so on........lol

The blue in your kitchen isn't a *blue* blue, so it doesn't clash, at least. The apples look cute! Incidentally, I just 'remodeled' (ha ha) with red accents in my kitchen... Aka new towels and pot holders. :) I got a couple of little reddish pictures, too. One is apples. I'll have to see if they still have them there and I'll pick you one up! (They were only $1, at WalMart!) (The other one was a rooster. Which I like better.)

Love the apples! My aunt has an apple themed kitchen, and every time I visit I always think how warm and cozy her home is.

Your kitchen looks very cute!

Lisa,

Your kitchen looks adorable with the apple motif.

We have the identical stove....so, just as we already knew, great minds think alike.

I just noticed your hot pad hanging from the cupboard above the stove... It's just like mine (my *new* towels and hot pads)... Did you get the whole set or no? Mine came with some apple tea towels.

Tina, that would be awesome. I can even send you the money through Paypal to pay for it and for shipping if you want. Let me know.
That is so cool!!

Veronica,
I don't know why but red makes me feel 'warm' and I've always liked apples. Just thought it would be a nice change from green which is what my old kitchen was.

I love the look!!! The apples look good against that blue. At least it's not a royal blue! ;)

Oh Pretty, I like Lisa. You did a great job so far. I have been one of those old stick in the muds with the greens and beige and yellows for my kitchen. After seeing yours, I might just have to change mine now, LOL!

Pretty in red and cheery too :)
